A product focus and strategy to increase adoption of new digital app.

AXA Partners was launched, to develop and accelerate its global partnership business. In particular in the automative, insurance, digital and government relationships. Digital agenda was high and increasing consumer and business to business online experience for engaging with AXA Partners business lines. Part of this was to transform and create a new way to report vehicle breakdowns using digital tools.



The approach taken was to form relationships and a team with the product group across Europe and submit requirements on behalf of the UK business. Leading delivery of new product features, google analytics, google tag manager, SEO for web single page app, API integration - through Agile, DevOps & Agile Scrum, Sprint processes

The product owner role had ownership of projects and project work streams including requirements, schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables. 

The key part of the approach was a focus on the relationship management with all external customer, stakeholders and SME’s and an effective interface to best support strategic business needs.


 Creation of an improved product offering through the mobile app eRescue, providing an ability to report breakdowns at the side of the road online. Pinpointing your location and detailing what category of fault it could be. The digital roadside assistance solution was easy and efficient. 90% of AXA's partners say they would use the service again.
